Developer Tools

The Developer Tools tab provides the following tools:

  • tsrpm – located under TimeSys Cross Development Tools for Linux/Cygwin Hosts. tsrpm is a cross-development tool that makes it easy to port source code distributed in the RPM Package Manager (RPM) format to new architectures and targets. With tsrpm, you can build multiple types of toolchains and full distributions, build natively on either Windows or Linux hosts, and use additional tools for constructing ready-to-deploy root filesystems for embedded targets. The power of tsrpm is derived from its ability to cross-compile packages without requiring patches to the package sources.
  • TestWare – Linux test suites that can be used from the command line or imported into TimeStorm LVS for automated testing
  • Cygwin distribution from TimeSys, which consists of the following:
    • A known-good version of the Cygwin DLL
    • A set of packages required by TimeSys development tools
    • A custom installer used to simplify and streamline package installation

Note

If you have a LinuxLink Pro seat and want to download TimeStorm Tools, select Tools from the bottom of the My Latest Updates drop-down menu.
