Packages in Classic
The Packages tab provides the following packages:
- Source (SRPM) and binary (RPM) packages containing Linux applications and system software that have been cross-compiled for boards that feature your target processor
- Packages for a complete, precompiled GCC toolchain, that runs on a desktop x86-based system and produces binaries that will run on your target hardware
- Embedded Development Utilities, which include the following packages for Linux or Cygwin hosts:
- cramfs – Linux filesystem designed to be simple, small, and to compress things well
- genext2fs – Package which generates an ext2 filesystem as a normal (that is, non-root) user; required by TimeStorm Target Configurator
- ipkg and ipkg-devel – Itsy Package management system and system developer files; ipkg is required by TimeStorm Target Configurator
- mkimage – U-Boot mkimage tool for uImage kernel images
- mtd – Memory Technology Devices utilities; required by TimeStorm Target Configurator
- oprofile – System-wide profiler; required by TimeStorm LPS
- opxml – Utility for Eclipse-oprofile communication required by TimeStorm LPS
